Welcome to the new Maine Events!

If you're a regular visitor to Maine Events, you may notice that things look a bit different around here. Maine Events is now an even better place to find events, list your own events, and more!

Here are some of the biggest changes to the site. We think you'll find it's easier than ever to find and add events.

Simplified accounts

When you signed up for a Maine Events account in the past, you were required to choose whether you were an individual or an organization. We've combined the best of both types of accounts into a single account type, and as always, signing up and listing events are free!

As part of this transition, you'll need to reset your password in order to log in and access your events. This process only takes a minute.

Watch users and events

We've brought associated events and organizations over from organization accounts. Now any user can just click on "Watch this event" on an event page to save the event to a personal calendar. Want to keep on top of the latest events from another user? Just click on "Watch this user" from any user's event list.

Improved location searching

We've traded towns and regions in for a sophisticated but easy-to-use location search. Now you can search within 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, or even 250 miles of any location you like!

More intiutive event adding

Adding events on our new site is a snap. Type in a title, click the date on a calendar, and place a point on a map. It's never been easier to list your event for free on Maine Events!

If you'd like to make adding events even easier, just set your personal location in your My Account area. We'll pre-populate that location on the event adding page.

...and much more coming soon!

We have a ton of new features we're planning to add soon. If you have something you'd like to see or if you have any questions about the site, send us an email!

Thanks for being a part of Maine Events.
