Walk for Hunger The Fourth Walk for Hunger to support the Hammond Street Ecumenical Food Cupboard will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010. The 4 mile walk will begin at Grace United Methodist Church at 193 Union St Bangor and proceed to St Mary's Catholic Church at 754 Ohio Street and back to Grace Church to participate in the Free Community Lunch. The registration begins at 8:30 am Grace Church in the parlor, and the walk begins at 9:30 am. There are nine local churches that support the food cupboard. Donations made be made in cash, check, or non perishable food items. All proceeds from the walk will go directly to the Food Cupboard.
