Ten Bucks Theatre Co. presents Fawlty Towers Meets Monty Python, Part III “A Touch of Class” and “The Hotel Inspectors” By John Cleese and Connie Booth Directed by Julie Arnold Lisnet and John Greenman There Is No “Class” At This “Hotel” Ten Bucks is back with two hysterical Fawlty Towers episodes Hilarity and mayhem always ensue when you are a guest at Fawlty Towers. Ten Bucks brings you both in their third installment of the classic BBC masterpiece! When Basil Fawlty (played by veteran actor of the roll, Ron Lisnet), discovers that the guest he is signing in is \\\"Lord\\\" Melbury (Ten Bucks newcomer Greg Mihalik), the unctuous pandering gets pretty thick. Basil cannot do too much for this \\\"peer\\\" with \\\"A Touch of Class”, and of course he doesn\\\'t believe his always-sensible employee, Polly (TBT’s Katie Toole) or his nagging wife, Sybil (TBT’s Julie Arnold Lisnet) when they tell him that Lord Melbury is really a con man! In \\\"The Hotel Inspectors”, Basil\\\'s paranoia takes hold of him as he sees inspectors behind every curtain. He ingratiates himself to all the wrong people and in the process gets punched out. Other favorite Fawlty characters grace the stage in these two episodes like the well meaning, yet somewhat incompetent, Manuel, the waiter (TBT’s Arthur Morison). Bernard Hope, another Ten Bucks veteran, plays ” Mr. Hutchinson” a man of way too many words. Then there’s our favorite permanent hotel resident, the incoherent and slightly dotty war veteran, Major Gowen, played by Ten Bucks favorite, John Greenman. Between these two classic episodes, TBT will present five Monty Python sketches and one by the British comedy team Fry and Laurie. Fawlty Towers will be performed in two locations this March and April: The hilarity starts off with a run at The Grand in Ellsworth March 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, and 27th at 7pm and March 21st at 2pm.
