"Meet Your Farmer"
"I think everyone really wants to be a farmer," says Aaron Bell in one of the eight short films that is to screen at the COA on Tuesday September 14th, at 7PM. Bell represents the 8th generation of his family working Tide Mill Farm in Edmunds.

There is no doubt that local farming is capturing attention all across Maine.

"Maine has added 1000 farms in the past decade," says John Piotti, executive director of Maine Farmland Trust, which commissioned the films.

The eight short films show some of the challenges and opportunities facing Maine's 8,000 farms. (from maineevents.com)
