The public is invited to celebrate the publication of CORPORATIONS ARE NOT PEOPLE with author Jeffrey Clements on Monday, Feb. 27th at Bayside Bowl's performance space (58 Alder St, Portland) from 5-9 p.m. Maine Citizens for Clean Elections (MCCE) is sponsoring this 'Fun-Raiser' event, which is free. Clements will speak at 6 p.m. and sign books afterward. Music will be provided by DJ Soul Proprietor, and food, drinks and copies of the new book will be available for purchase. 5% of all Bayside Bowl sales that day will be donated to MCCE Action. MCCE is a nonpartisan organization that works in the public interest to advocate for, increase public support for, defend and improve the Maine Clean Election Act and related campaign finance law.
