The Humane Society of Knox County’s 2010 Art for the Animals fundraiser auction will be at the Maine Lighthouse Museum (1 Park Drive, Rockland) on July 30, 31 and August 1. Over 200 outstanding works by Maine artists, plus items and gift certificates donated by local merchants and restaurants will be available for bidding. Event includes a silent 3-day auction, with a “Buy it Now” option on selected items. There will also be a Live Auction of key artworks on Sunday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. featuring auctioneer Kaja Veilleux. Open to the public, with no admission charge.
