Country Fest Maine 2010 will be held on August 7 & 8 at the Litchfield Fairgrounds, in Litchfield, Maine. Two days jam-packed with traditional and contemporary country, bluegrass, and folk music performed by some of the Northeast's best singers/songwriters/performers. Entry is $6/person for day passes or $10/person for a 2-day pass. Kids under 12 are free. There will be sites for self-contained RV's as well as for tenters at a reasonable cost. Vendors and food concessions will be open during the festival. On Saturday the live music will run from 9am-11pm (yes, 14 hours!) and on Sunday from Noon-6pm. On Saturday there will be two special performances by the legendary LEROY VAN DYKE. On Sunday there will be an open acoustic jam in the arena from 9am-11am and a special appearance by the MALINDA LIBERTY BAND.
