Learn all about your old quilt FOR FREE!
Do you have an old quilt or quilt top that was made before 1960? And have you been wondering about its history? If so, please join us at our Quilt Documentation Day. First come, first served.
At Quilt Documentation Day, quilting experts will examine and record information about your quilt or quilt top FOR FREE! Through this examination, you will be able to learn all kinds of interesting information: approximate age, style, fabrics, construction, and more! You will also receive expert information on how to properly care for your quilted item.
At the end of the evaluation, you will receive a report with pertinent information about your quilt or quilt top. Additionally, your quilt will be added to the official Maine Quilt Heritage archives, as part of their efforts to record information about all quilts currently residing in Maine.
