Waldo County Citizen Protection Fund needs your help!
The Waldo County Citizen Protection Fund is a non-profit organization that was created by Emergency Medical Dispatcher's at Waldo County Communication Center who are raising money to purchase Amber Alert Child ID Kits to distribute them free of charge to Maine families. These kits are a portable flash drive that holds all information on your child/children as well as multiple pictures and is password protected. If a child was abducted and the family had this Child ID Kit all they would have to do was hand it over to their local law enforcement as all the information law enforcement would need to collect is already stored on the device, this expedites the time for the law enforcement to get the information out on the child to other agencies to be on the look out. Time is very precious and extremely important when it comes to child abduction and these Child ID Kits save a lot of time. Wouldn't you want one for your family member?
The Waldo County Citizen Protection Fund is holding its first Golf Tournament to raise money for Amber Alert Child ID Kits to distribute free of charge to families in Maine. The Golf Tournament will be September 13, 2008 8:00 am Gun Shot start (rain or shine).
We are looking for businesses (or anyone who wants to sponsor a hole) that are interested in doing a hole sponsorship for the tournament. The cost to sponsor a hole is $100.00.
Also Golfers: we are still looking for teams of 4 (limit 18 teams, first come first serve) the cost is $260.00 for a team of 4 with two carts. Need to pay upfront to hold your spot.
