It's Mel Brook’s hilarious story about producer Max Bialystock (played by Cory English) and his hapless accountant Leo Bloom (played by Andy Taylor), who try to oversell a Broadway flop only to incur complications when the show unexpectedly turns out to be a hit. The Ogunquit Playhouse is thrilled to be one of the first regional theatres in the country to recreate the Broadway production featuring Robin Wagner’s fantastic Tony-Award winning sets and William Ivey Long’s spectacular Tony award winning costumes in this one time only star studded production of The Producers! Also starring in The Producers from the National Tour, Ida Leigh Curtis as Ula; Bill Nolte from the Las Vegas cast as Franz; and New England’s hottest entertainer, Ryan Landry, returns to the Playhouse as Roger De Bris!
